Best rest/nap spots for infants and toddlers at Disneyland
We will keep it simple. The baby center is #1. Your hotel is #2. Stroller is #3 for those kiddos that need to be in motion. Stay hydrated though, it's hot.
1. Baby Care Center
When you arrive at the park, ask a friendly Disneyland employee where the Baby Care Center is. Try to walk by or find it, so that when you need it... you're ready. If a meltdown happens or a kid goes bonkers, this is your safe place to go to regroup and collect yourself and see what the little tyke needs. It is a parent's life saver. Air conditioning. Breast feeding/bottle feeding privacy areas. Little kid potties. Changing tables. Sink with water and soap. And quiet! Also, our favorite perk is that the Disneyland Baby Care Center is right next to the most delicious corn dog, so everyone - even dad - is happy :).
2. Your Hotel
We highly recommend staying either on property at the Grand Californian or the Disneyland hotel (if your budget permits) or a hotel that is right across the street like the Park Vu or Candyland hotels so that you can take a break after lunch with the little ones, let everyone nap or rest, and then go back and enjoy the evening.
3. Stroller
We've all been there. Some kids only sleep when they're moving around in a stroller. We get it. Make sure to just stay in the shade like at the Princess Theatre so that the little kiddo doesn't get too overheated. If you know that your child will want to sleep in the stroller, you could also bring a fan and air mister to make it less hot.
Rule of thumb: You know your child best, so follow your intuition. You got this!
